"Great economical boutique hotel with smaller but nice rooms. Great service throughout our stay. Great location with a nice restaurant attached next door that was great for breakfast. We would stay there again. "

"Nice hotel and location. A bit old and the family room was a bit small. "

"Nice and cozy and the location was great. Not a fancy place, but the price is good, the staff is nice and it's clean and located close to trains. Plus, it's quiet and out of the way, and still accessible to everything."

"If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. However, I personally loved this hotel. It was very small and minimalist - and very simple. Yet, it offered every single thing a traveler needs: Clean room and amenities; AMAZING location, good price, and super friendly staff. Additionally, it was really quiet (even in the middle of the city), and it felt safe. I will definitely stay there again."

"The Mark is nice but it’s also one of the most expensive 5 star hotels, Manhattan. The problem is it’s pretty plain compared to the other hotels in the area not much stood out. I will say, their service and hospitality was great. It’s one of the few hotels that acknowledged my Expedia status and honored my discounts and late check out. The in room dining was about the same as the peninsula or the plaza. "

"I love this hotel! Convenient location was a plus. And there are only 4 rooms per floor, so it was extremely quiet. Staff was very helpful. Love the modern decor."

"Very clean hotel with extremely helpful staff. Was about a 10-15 minute walk to Main Street, Flushing subway station where we got the subway 1 stop to Citi Field for baseball and was also about a 30 minute ride into Central Manhattan. The hotel area was very quiet, Main Street was very lively but even returning at 11pm we always felt safe"
"We really liked this hotel! And it’s dog friendly! Beautiful, clean, airy rooms. The room overall was a 10/10. The food and cocktails from the hotel room service were so good. Conveniently located across the street from Central Park. Would highly recommend!"
"Very spacious room! Enjoyed my stay; lots of options for food nearby and the elevators were quick and efficient (which isn’t always the case with NYC hotels) "
"Loved that they offer kosher food in the lobby. Internet was good. Well located: bed was a little soft, but they did offer to put a board under the mattress for added support for my back. "
"Very nice hotel, in a quiet area, the room was updated, clean, and staff were friendly! Bakery under the hotel is great for breakfast and quick lunch"
"Great staff and service! Room was clean and comfortable. Douglas behind the desk was amazing! He was able to provide restaurant recommendations, transportation "
"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriot Saddle Brook with my family and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free.
The room was immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and functionality. The bed was incredibly comfortable, with high-quality linens that made it hard to get up in the morning. I also appreciated the little touches like complimentary bottled water, a well-stocked coffee station, and plenty of charging outlets.
What truly stood out to me was the level of service. Every staff member I interacted with, from housekeeping to the front desk, was courteous, helpful, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed.
The amenities were just as impressive. The fitness center was clean and well-equipped, and the hotel's location made it easy to explore the area while still feeling like a peaceful retreat.
Overall, our stay at the Marriot was outstanding. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and first-class service. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit."
"Nicely appointed rooms, comfortable beds, spacious for NYC. Clean. Nice views. Easy check in and easy walk to the train station to NYC. I will book again. A few homeless people nearby but property felt safe. Hotel should stay reasonable because of this. Lobby could use a refresh."
"Classic old hotel in Midtown. We surprised and please with an upgrade. The concierge was happy to offer suggestions, or make a reservation for us if we needed. The room itself showed some signs of wear, peeling paint, torn/stained carpeting, furniture that's seen better days. The room was still very clean as were the towels and linens. The wear and tear did not detract from the stay. It was about 95Degrees F when we were in NY and the AC in our room handled it like a champ. All good. Would stay again!"
