"We enjoyed a 3 day family getaway and returned home today. There were many updates to the property and it was quiet around us. The lake was very close, we used the gas bar b q and firepit and picnic table with pretty view of the lake. Ty we will return "
"Honestly i was very anxious for my stay, i had seen that there were bad reviews but only after the fact that i already made reservations, surprisingly i had an awesome time, the manager was super nice and welcoming as well as all of the other employees, she did let me know of the warm water not working in the building i was staying in, none the less i wanted to stay in the room so id have a kitchen, the room exceeded my expectations, it was very clean, they had utensils, dish ware and cooking ware. the private water front was so beautiful especially at night. the balcony was a definite plus too. they did have complimentary breakfast with items like juice, coffee, cereal, breakfast bars and a few other things. my stay was very affordable. Although it’s mid summer in california the weather was perfect, unfortunately there was no ac, and as a person who gets very hot easily, i would say the ac was not needed, i’ll definitely be returning and would recommend checking this place out for your next stay up in big bear. there were many fun activities that i was able to do in my 2 night stay, there are many things that are at walking distance or a very short car ride away, id recommend going to the alpine slide, going out for a kayaking experience, and/or checking out a fun spot called gold rush mining adventure."
"From the outside, this place looks like many of the other little hotels in the area where when you walk into your room, and it’s mountain kitch, with bears and dark wood, and deer heads , etct. But this place is different, the rooms are beautiful. It’s obvious they’ve been recently renovated. They’re large and fresh and open. Huge TV great sound. Fridge freezer microwave. That was a pretty kick ass room."
"We had a wonderful stay at Home2Suites by Hilton in Big Bear. Most importantly for me , the room was very clean. The hotel also has great amenities like, a gym, indoor pooI, patio with gas firepits. "Big Bear generally has some low-end rustic (meaning rundown) dated properties. Sessions breaks that mold. My room was updated to be more modern. Felt more spacious and was decorated in a really cool manner. Think Austin Powers! The staff was terrific and the facilities were really nice. There was a really nice clean pool and there's a nice hangout area with fire pits. I would say sessions is the best place in Big Bear I've stayed at yet by far."

"The room was so lovely and catered for everything we needed. It was such a pleasant surprise to have so much space. The room was laid out nicely and very clean. Check in was particularly welcoming but later we came down and were greeted by Lori who was so helpful and genuinely kind. In the morning we were told breakfast was 7-10 by the original check in staff (not Lori). When we came down at 915 it was cleared away, however, the lovely lady helped us with bread/juice/yogurt to take up to our room. It was so nice.highly recommend the hotel. If all homes to suites are like this, I will definitely use again. "
