"It was a special experience. The place is spacious and the beds comfortable.
The bathroom being away from the yourte is not the best especially at night."

"This is a wonderful place to stay when visiting the area. I came here to see Monet's Giverney, which is a wonderful experience. The proprietors are kind, intelligent, know the area and quite helpful for tips about the area. The surroundings are beautiful. Highly recommended"

"Absolutely amazing!
What a beautiful and comfortable place. The staff at both the hotel were lovely and helpful.
I highly recommend!
They have bikes you can borrow, I would suggest taking them for a ride in the nearby paths. "

"Enough space for family of four and probably for more, very nice breakfast with home-made yogurt, great drinks with fresh baguettes, croissants, and pain-au-chocolats.
Great hospitality and flexibility of the host will be remembered for a long time."

"Amazing stay at a wonderful venue. The wonderful staff made us feel like home from the moment of checking in. The castle and its surroundings are beautiful and it was a perfect start of our vaccination where we really got to slow down and just enjoy life. We travelled with our 3 year old, and he enjoyed as much as his parents, thank you to the staff who made his and our stay so special. We enjoyed the Michelin worthy restaurant all 3 nights and canât recommend it enough.

"The second most relaxing atmosphere we have experienced in a hotel (the first is at the sister hotel, Les Granges dâHaillancourt). We really liked the restaurant too - friendly, attentive service and great food. We will definitely be back. "

"We had the smallest room available (13 m2). It was cropped with a double bed, a tiny desman a cupboard. That was all fine, but the mattress was really bad. The toilet reservoir took an hour to refill. The bathroom was adequate. We did not try the breakfast. The lady at the reception was friendly but not very helpful. "

"Stayed in the family suite, two rooms and a tiny shower. Broken window held together with duct tape. Facilities were clean in the room. Very small and hot. Staff did bring a fan for one room. No toilet paper in the bathroom when we arrived. There appeared to only be one lady doing her best to manage lots of guests. Breakfast was disorganised and not enough crockery, we couldnât all have cereal because there were no more clean bowls.

Le Moulin de Fourges
10/10 Excellent
"Staying at Le Moulin de Fourges was like stepping into a storybook. Nestled along a peaceful river in the Normandy countryside, this beautifully restored 18th-century watermill is full of character, charm, and serenity.
The setting is absolutely magical â surrounded by lush greenery, a gently flowing stream, and flower-lined paths. Itâs the kind of place that makes you instantly slow down and breathe a little deeper. Every corner of the property has been thoughtfully designed, blending rustic elegance with modern comfort.
Our room was warm and inviting, with lovely views and a perfect mix of authentic French decor and cozy touches. The attention to detail was evident everywhere â from the linens and furnishings to the freshly prepared breakfast served with care and a smile.
The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel like cherished guests rather than just travelers passing through. Their warmth and hospitality truly elevated our stay.
Le Moulin de Fourges is more than just a hotel â itâs an experience. Peaceful, picturesque, and filled with soul, it was the perfect stop on our journey and a place we would return to in a heartbeat."
"Such a great spot! Beautiful views, quiet area despite the train that passed directly behind the hotel. We barely heard it. We had a triple which was actually two rooms. Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms and nice bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant t was delicious. The best pork Iâve ever had. Nice bar patio area. Would definitely recommend d this property. "
"Very nice hotel in a very quiet and beautifully landscaped area. The staff is super nice, the decor makes you feel like in a castle, from the room decoration to the lobby and the yard. I did a walk around the castle and they also have a garden, growing their own food. I wish I had a breakfast or dinner in here but I was there only for a few hours of sleep.
Thanks for the welcome."
"I stayed 3 nights this past June. It was lovely! The house was built in the 20's and is so pretty. My room was on a corner, overlooking the garden. Plenty big for just me. The bathroom was newly renovated and beautiful. The owner, Arthur, is very nice and enjoys telling about the history of the property. His girlfriend Meng operates the attached restaurant, Maison Coquelin. I ate there every night! The petite breakfast, which comes with the room, served the best croissants I've ever had. I spent 1 day in La Roche-Guyon visiting the castle (highly recommend the 250 steps up to the dungeon, fabulous view) and exploring the small town. I also spent a day in Giverny (10 minute drive) visiting Monet's home and gardens. 1 hour from Paris makes this an easy place to visit."
"The property was well secured and safe. Great staff who helped in many ways. Off the main road so was quiet. Public transport passes right outside the hotel, easy transfers to and from the airport. Great place."
"Room was extremely small, no bed side cabinets, no wardrobe, bathroom ok. Hotel do not provide any fans in hot weather.
Close to train station if you want visit Paris. Close supermarket
Ok to stay for 1 night only "
"Adorable! We absolutely loved this place, it was so charming and the staff were lovely. Pretty easy to find, parking on site. Walked around the river and the village. We were there long enough to visit the castle nearby but we would have if had time. "
"The interior of the property is lovely as is the front of the building. However when you pull into the back parking lot the first impression is disappointing. That would be my only negative comment. The staff very friendly, the rooms clean, very nice bathroom. "
"The staff were very welcoming and seemed yo appreciate my efforts to communicate in very limited French. Managed to be understood. Great location - very close to Giverny. Plenty of food options ... in house dining and many restaurants in neighbouring Vernon "
"A lovely place close to the Royal Jump and convenient for Giverny, Beauvais & Amiens. The gardens are lovely, the rooms immaculate and there is a spa on site. The only drawback is the lack of local eating out options."
"It was a really simple stay, but it was worth it for one night. I just did't like the smell of mold in the room. I have nothing to complain but this."
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
We should have known something was off from the state of the building and car park. The cars all look abandoned and many have flat tyres. The hotel is like something from a horror film. Mostly unlit and feels abandoned and run down.
As two females we immediately felt unsafe. This was expounded when the man on reception charged us more than the agreed price and we felt too intimidated to argue.
We were shown to a room at the fair end of the hotel on a dingy corridor. The door looked like it had been jimmyed open with a crowbar at some point, the latch was loose and the door didn't lock from the inside.
We asked to be moved rooms and were put in one nearer reception. We spoke to the receptionist and asked him to show us that the door couldn't be opened with the keycard when the door was locked from the inside. We put our bags on our beds and went to dinner.
When we returned our bags had been moved and something had changed with the lock because you could open it from the outside with the keycard even if the door was locked from the inside so we didn't feel safe.
We went to reception and said we didn't feel safe and didn't want to stay. The receptionist wouldn't refund us and phoned the manager who was abusive on the phone to us so we left.
The following morning we returned to give the keycard back and get a refund. They refused because 'we'd booked online' even though we'd paid by card at the hotel.
There is very wrong with this hotel. AVOID"
"Booked the Ibis as a stop-off on our way to Le Shuttle. Check-in was easy, loads of parking, super easy to find and a lovely little breakfast. If all youâre after is a place to sleep and re-charge itâs a winner."
"This is the first time experience staying in below standard hotel
The hotel that I paid ÂŁ77+ doesnât have a tea or coffee in his room
The toilet doesnât have full toilet tissue
I left the hotel this morning before 9 oâclock to look for another hotel
It was painful"
