"It’s an old building… with an overgrown garden like an haunted mansion. First impression was to run… seemed like a horror movie set. Old furniture with dantesque paintings in this dark manor. BUT… we stayed as was only a motorway stop. Dinner was in the middle of the garden… and food was AMAZING. Room was super specious and super clean… with all the accessories. Breakfast was generous and well presented in a room from 1830!!
Great value for money… and super well connected to lovely locations...

"We had one night here, and really enjoyed a thoroughly French experience. We had a fantastic dinner with other guests and the hosts at a huge table, which was a memorable and enjoyable event. "

"I’m not usually compelled to leave reviews for goods and services I use but this place was so cool. It’s in the center of this amazing little midlevel town and a renovated 18th century manor but with all the comforts of a new hotel. They did a great job preserving the history while modernizing. Room and furniture was emasculate and the air conditioning was superb. The staff were very attentive, professional, and helpful. Breakfast and dining area were great! Highly recommend this place. A+"

"The staff were extremely friendly. The food in the restaurant was great and reasonably priced. The hotel was easy to find and located right next to a roundabout that let you go anywhere in the region. There were shops across the highway (accessible by car 2 minutes). Great place to stay if exploring the region’s Chteaux. "

"An OK hotel in an "out of town" location. Needed car to visit Azay le Rideau in rain!
Limited bar seating but OK restaurant and nice food."

"Although a modern, functional building, much had been done to create a welcoming environment. In particular, trees and flower planting and patio furniture."

"With its generous and extraordinarily pleasant hosts, this property would be one of the best in the area only if the rooms were stripped of their poor-man’s transition to modernity, restored to their past glory, and equipped with an electric kettle!!"

"The hotel has an elegant exterior and the rooms boast high ceilings. The parking is free and the situation is lovely as it overlooks the river and a lovely park.
The rooms were decorated a la 50’s - dated, dingy.
Steep steps to negotiate for my blind dog.
Lovely staff."

"This hotel is actually very decent for a one-star hotel. The room is comfortable, though the bathroom is really tiny. Reception staff is very welcoming and friendly. Plenty parking availability. Good breakfast. No luxury of course, but can't be expected at this price. There is no restaurant, but a lot of dinner options within close distance."

"Cheap. Great value for a quick, one night stop. Near the motorway and near a couple of fast foid outlets if you're in a hurry. No frills but no issues either, considering the price."

"Central, unique and friendly. Even though it's central i found my room quiet and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore Tours and make the most of their stay. "
"Ideal for family to stopover or to access Tours. The rooms are well kept and have good facilities. It is a very short walk to the newly built shopping centre with restaurants and shops available. "
"The room was dated but clean and quiet and the hotel provided everything we needed for a one night stopover breaking a very long car journey.
Breakfast was good."
"Bed was super comfortable, room wasn't large but was good and quiet. A/C worked well and hairdryer was the best. Owners and staff were super interesting and helpful. Decoration of hotel was fantastic. May not be your taste but fun, interesting, colorful, and felt like I was in a boutique hotel. Area was super convenient to everything. "
"Quiet room air conditioned. breakfast good,
Staff helpful, restaurant nearby was excellent.
No electric local charging point that was compatible with UK credit card was a problem and required travelling to Tours to recharge vehicle."

"Great location. All city shops, restaurants and historical sites easily within walking distance. The pool and sunbeds were particularly welcome in the late afternoons on the hot days we stayed there. Fan provided in the room was a bonus (temperatures were exceptionally high)."
"We were very happy with our stay! The hotel is very conveniently located, close to shops and restaurants. Easy to access. The rooms are clean and convenient. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was delicious. There are hotel much more expensive that are not as pleasant. Thank you. "
