"The amazing weather of course added to the experience, but the Eliassen Rorbue was an extra ordinary experience with a slow, calm and comforting stay.
We had a room facing the waterfront wich of course is a must."

"It's a nice place to stay in a beautiful part of the world. But they have lots to learn. The website says the parking is free, but it also says it's charged per night. When emailing them asking if it costs or not, you get the reply "no problem" - and when asking again you don't get a reply.
My booking included breakfast, but the hotel first refused to honour that claiming that it's not included if you stay in a rorbu. I showed them the booking confirmation, but since the staff didn't know...

"This is a very special place. The "village" is actually the cottages and associated restaurants etc. Nusfjord, the fjord, is tiny, isolated and intimate with huge rock walls. The property has done an excellent job in preserving the feel of the original fishing village. Lovely, well trained staff. "

"This place is fantastic, so if you are visiting Lofoten, book at least one night in this small village. The breakfast, pizza and the bakery buns…wow! We will go back to Lofoten, and this place is on the list to revisit. We had to leave one day early due to illness, but we said on the way back home that this is top 3 for us compared to other hotels that we have visited round the world. "

"We had a lovely stay at this small, cosy flat. The place is clean and thoughtfully decorated, with a charming mix of old and new that makes it feel both homey and stylish. It had everything we needed for a comfortable night with the family. There’s even a place to charge an electric car, which was a big plus for us. The staff were very helpful and nice, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Later, we returned for a fishing trip."

"Perfect location near Leknes in the center of the Lofoten. The cabin was like new and well equipped with a great view. Bonus was the sauna. A great place to stay. "
