The rooms are large and the bathrooms have big showers with glass walls (no shower curtain needed). The front desk is helpful and the breakfast staff went out of their way to feed us even if we got there 5 minutes before closing. Free parking and space reserved to charge EVs. "

"Three couples, cousins, stayed two nights at the Castello to explore Assisi and Gubbio. My wife and I and our young children stayed at the castle in 1998. We all thought it was special. "This is our second vacation here at La Terazza in Assisi. This time, our visit coincided with World Youth Day. There was singing and dancing within the walls of Assisi. It was wonderful. Then, we could come back to LaTerrazza for a wonderful swim with fantastic views and peace. The Hotel is very new and a perfect mix of old stone and crisp clean white walls and newly remodeled room.

Breakfast is a pleasant dining experience. The hostess is kind and attentive. The décor is cool and modern and fresh. There was whqr appearwd to be a repaored leak which left a mark in our room. Great rain shower! Walkable to everywhere in Assisi. Picturesque. I want to return already.

99% of the TV cable is Italian, all streaming requirments with an account, the Annex suites do feel far away from the main hotel and we didn't have an iron ready and had to request one."

"Well, all I can share is, that it’s the best place I’ve been so far in Italy, considering I’m on a budget. Super friendly staff and excellent and clean place. Love the old fashioned mixed with the modern appliances. Incredible view, delicious breakfast and lunch. Now considering this is a very touristic place prices are quite high in most restaurants. I had my most expensive dinner so far around 100 euros in another restaurant in town. Now it’s a very crammed city because it’s so old, so don’t try to drive on it if you have a medium size car, it’s a challenge. Just park in the parking lot at the entrance of the city and enjoy the exercise, lots of walking uphill and downhill. Lots of things to see in the small city. I can’t say it enough, it’s beautiful."

"I've stayed here quite a few times, so that speaks for itself. The pool is the big asset plus the views across the valley. It's a bit of a trek up to Assisi itself - about 15 minutes up hill on a road with traffic. If you don't have a car, you need to plan carefully. You can get drinks and basic lunch at the house. It is rustic and that will either frustrate you slightly or charm you. Good price, idyllic setting - I just wish there was a bus or shuttle going up to the town. Very friendly new receptionist who made it end on a good note!"
